Harvey Dent was a District Attorney for the Gotham City Police Department until acid was thrown at his face during a trial, disfiguring half of his face. Taking the name Two-Face, Dent would decide whether to kill someone or not by the flip of a coin - one side normal, and the other scratched to represent his split personality. His mental disorder pitted him against former allies Commissioner Jim Gordon and Batman.
